On Sunday 16th July 2016 the Mill Hill community at Missiehuis Vrijland celebrated the 60 years jubilee of three of its members: Bro Marinus de Groot and Frs Theo Beemster and Fons Geerts.

The Dutch Region of the Mill Hill Missionaries celebrated the 150th Anniversary of the Mill Hill Missionary Society (126 years in Holland) on 29th June, the Feast of Sts Peter and Paul.
At the occasion of the celebration in Oosterbeek, Holland, of the 150 years of existence of Mill Hill Missionary Society the first copy of a beautifully laid out Jubilee Book written for the occasion by retired professional journalist Paul de Schipper was presented to Fr Michael Corcoran, General Superior, by the author.
Close to a hundred APF promotors participated in the 150 years Jubilee celebration of the Mill Hill Missionaries on Sunday 19th June, the anniversary of the death of their Founder, Cardinal Herbert Vaughan, at Herbert House in Freshfield.
Britain inside or outside Europe?
On Friday 17th of June 2016 during the 150 Years Jubilee Mass in the Pilgrimage Basilica of Absam the 13 Mill Hill Priests present were asked by the Main Celebrant to renew their Missionary Oath. They did this in the presence of the Diocesan Administrator of Innsbruck, Jakob Bürgler – who presided the Eucharist –, the Abbot of the Norbertine Monastery Wilten - Innsbruck, Raimund Schreier, the Dean and Parish Priest of Absam, Martin Ferner, and a number of other Priests, Sisters, Zealators, Guests and Families while standing round the altar. This impressive and moving ceremony was conducted in Englishand it proved to be a strong expression of the missionary commitment and of belonging to an English Missionary Congregation.
