A special exhibition on the history of the Catholic Church in Korea, currently being held in Vatican, can now be viewed online via an interactive website.
The website showcases ‘On Earth as it is in Heaven: Seoul and 230 Years of the Catholic Church in Korea,’ a special exhibition consisting of 187 relics that has been held at the Vatican Museum’s Braccio di Carlo Magno Hall since Sept. 9.
The online exhibition also offers interactive views around St. Peter’s Basilica from Castel Sant’ Angelo, allowing users to feel they are walking through Rome’s streets to the basilica.
When arriving at the Braccio di Carlo Magno Hall, users also can see the exhibition’s opening ceremony.
The website was co-launched by the Seoul History Museum and the Seoul Archdiocese. The exhibition will run at the Vatican until Nov. 17.
